Chemicals & Synthetics DSO Benchmark Falls Slightly to 57.27 Days

Lyondell has the lowest DSO of the
10 largest chemical companies.
The Days' Sales Outstanding, more commonly known as DSO, benchmark for the chemicals and synthetics industry fell slightly to 57.27 days based on the latest figures compiled for 62 companies for the credit standards index (CSI), a ranking of public company credit standards published annually by CreditPulse. The 2006 figure is .09 days lower than the 2005 DSO benchmark of 57.36 days. Similarly, median DSO came in at 55.73 days, .89 days lower than the 2005 median DSO of 56.62 days.
